Working Pattern

I have a sweater pattern that says to turn after working six v-stitches then (work one row even). What do I do

I don't know if I should turn the pattern and work one more row the same, or if I stop there [this is in correspondence with working on the neck line]. The patterns next line says to do the same thing to the other side, so I know that it's not talking about: what you do to one side do to the other. Can someone please help me?

You're working on one side of neckline on your sweater. So knit the six stitches, then turn your work so that the only stitches you are working with are the six that you just knit. Work one row even means to knit or purl as you have been keeping with the pattern on the six stitches you've just done.
Continue working on just this section of your work until it tells you otherwise. You'll then do the same thing on the other side of the neck.
I hope this helps!
Happy knitting!
