Looking for info on a Palma Lites Sportsmen Series wooden cigar box with two geese in flight on lid?

got it at a junk store for $2, and one just like is on ebay for $10. still not sure what its worth, with only one reference. has original price (barcode) sticker (not attached.) Wanted to paint it and use it as a jewelry box, but thought I would research it first. Thanks for any info you can give me!!
