Wood Finish
What is the best for our platform, wood finish or wood stain?
Hello, we have a new pressure treated deck (one month) and want to spot it soon, for both color and protection. We are undecided between wood semi-transparent stain (which I understand penetrates into the wood) and wood finish (which is just the surface). I understand that semi-transparent stain lasts longer than finishing, but finishing wood is more beautiful (on the samples we have seen). If anyone has experience with these two, which would you recommend?
First you must apply a dressing (which is an element of preparation) and leave more than winter. The following year, clean the deck with a washer pressure and then apply your stain penetrates finish.The more weather but faster. The semi-transparent is stronger and last longer and offer better protection. I would recommend the half that you have the look of protection against stains, but more durability.
