How to clean wax out of Candle Molds?

I have candle carving molds and I need a way to clean the molds that have left over wax.

Well, it's not easy but I usually break large pieces away with a knife first & then wash by hand with hot water & dish soap & a scrubbing brush or my trusty finger nails.
I've also heard that you can warm it up in a microwave & drain it & then wash with soap & water while it's still hot. But it's still difficult that way b/c the water usually cools the wax down so a coating is left. Hope these suggestions help a little & good luck.
