Making Wax

What is the best wax to use when making candles container?

I have read articles that say so many different waxes are better than others. I want to know if there is a certain type of wax that has a better scent throw

The waxes are generally classified as or "container" or "pillar" of the wax. The main difference being the melting point and firmness. Then you have different types of waxes, including Soy Wax, Palm, and "mixtures" (usually of soy and paraffin). For container candles, we find the best all around performer soy is the most beautiful is Palm. A note about soy wax and sent throw the smell takes two weeks for "flower" in soy wax to give maximum discard. Add Vybar can greatly improve Soy throw too. Stay away from general supplies craft store as they tend to be out of price and low quality. You can go to the following website to find a provider near you real candle: http://www.suppliersbystate.com/ Or, we recommend: http://www.candlesandsupplies.com (we use it for most of our supplies) I hope this helps!
