Bookbinding Leather

Does wheat paste adhere leather to board well?

I very recently got into bookbinding. I have been very successful in using PVA glue when it comes to book cloth and paper, but I have wanted to use leather for some time now. Leather's kind of expensive so I don't want to royally screw up an entire project's worth of leather so I was wondering if I should use wheat paste instead of PVA.

Using the wheat paste first on one would be a good trial and if it fails you can always redo it. Here is a link to videos that show how to bind books with a leather covering.

Hope that helps you, Good luck.
