How can lizard stick on wall and ceiling?

How can lizard stick on wall and ceiling? Im just curious.
How about the typical house lizard?

not all lizards can.
but some, like anoles and most species of gecko have pads on their feet. The pads made up of millions of microscopic 'hairs' which apparently produce electrical attractions and can 'stick' them to many flat surfaces

they are geckos - if you see any lizard running upside down or on a flat wall or something it'll always be the pads helping out.
other lizards use claws to climb, but they wont be able to hand upside down or climb flat surfaces or anything
