Can you paint polymer clay with food colourant or any other paint before baking it?
I cant find FIMO, sculpey nor other brand where I live, so i was wondering if i could paint the clay, any clay with colourant? or any other paint, start making the figures, and then bake them?

If you are going to bake/fire your clay into a ceramic then those colors will not hold.
The high temps will burn them off.
The paint will turn into black ash. The food coloring will brown or disappear completely.
If you fire at a lower temp, you won’t produce a ceramic but the colors have a better chance to survive.
Also, don’t poison yourself. Paints can made of many different types of polymers. You don’t want to eat foods from them unless they have been approved for that specific application.
