Rust Brown

How do you remove brown rust-like stains from silver kitchen appliances?

For example, a brushed metal toaster which has little brown spots in places.
Haha! It's definitely not grime! My house is scarily clean. I think it was perhaps cleaned once and not dried properly.

Sounds like they are little rust spots.

T-Cut do a metal polish that I use on the brushed steel splashbacks in my kitchen, which should also deal with your toaster. Work lightly, in the direction of the 'grain' of the brushing. But to be safe, try some on an inconspicuous corner first. It could be that your toaster has a lacquer coating which the T-Cut might scratch.
