Rosewood Pen

What makes a better finish for a hand-turned cigar pen, multiple coats of straight CA, or both BLO and CA?

The wood I am going to be using is Hawaiian Koa and Bahia Rosewood.

I would personally use (I love to work with buffing wood..seriously) lemon oil buffed in with a soft brillo pad, let set after one buffing a day for three days...rub the excess lemon oil off...let set for at least another day, wipe any excess and then one to two coats of simple CA.(note I assume you are referring to Clear Acrylic)...people tend to overdo the coatings and ignor that the beauty of the wood and durability simply needs a boost. just my opinion....Alda
(I would love to know about your finished product...the woods you are using are two of the most beautiful when done right)
