Raw Bees
Regarding the use of linseed oil for protection against wood siding Boring bees.?
This year in particular we have considerable difficulty with bees boring. We have rough sawn pine board and batten siding with an oil-based semitransparent stain. spot is about 4 years. old and fading. The bees are increasing and are now what we're doing is shooting them with wasps Hornets will freeze and drop them, but the damage is already low as they have clearly laid eggs in the holes. We also damages Wood Pecker Bird trying to find the larva of bees. So it's a double whammy. We were told to spray the house with linseed oil. Someone Can we say whether this will help keep the bees away? Should we use the crude oil or flax. If they brush or spray. We are desperate for some answers. Thank you.
