How to re attach windshield molding?
The molding that runs vertically along the windshield of my car has popped out. It is still attached at the top and bottom, but can be pulled out along the middle. It can be pushed back into place, but works its way out again. Is there a certain type of glue or adhesive I could use to re-secure the molding or should it be taken care of professionally?
they are using urethanes for this applicaton. they also use a primer. you should bring it to a windshield replacement place for the correct fix.
if you wanted the $4 option, go buy a tube of RTV silicone at the hardware store.
