Holster Pattern

I own a 1911. Is there a free pattern for making a leather holster somewhere?

Has anyone seen one, or made their own?
Hobbies and crafts is zero help.
ecrimsonpd: I am heading up north to a camp I used to work at and I know I will be able to use their stuff for free, and I think it will be fun to try. I can always fall back on buying one if it sucks. But I would like to at least give it a shot.
