Furniture Walls
How to arrange furniture in a room without walls?
I'm moving into a loft. Two walls are essentially the "roof" and the other two Walls are "triangular" and have such large windows that focuses on the furniture is not possible without the cover. It is a great space and the ceiling is probably 12 'to the "peak". Any ideas for working with sloping walls?
Will it be a room for you? Or is a space entire life, like an apartment? I think you should put your furniture right in the middle, away from walls and sloping ridges. A large area rug would anchor and set the rest area or life. Place your furniture - or at least larger pieces - on the carpet in an attractive arrangement. Use small pieces - Low bookcases, dressers, etc. along the sloping walls. You can also put plants - real parts or bristles along the straight line down the wall. You could mix in some stacked boxes or chests, art on an easel, etc.. If there are lots of angles and slopes, you will need to ensure that the space does not look untidy, cluttered. It can be a challenge to work with such a space, but you can make it look Charming and comfortable, and it will be a little haven of peace for you ... your own sanctuary that is private and personal! Good luck.
