Exotic Hardwood
What it really hard? And is it really worth what I paid?
I bought this timber sale auction today. It has been described as exotic Corp., rosewood cherry, Plank, Solid Wood, Kempas. I bought it $ 3 per square foot of approximately 1000 square feet. It is quite difficult (after testing with the smear method) and do not seem prone scratch or otherwise. I wonder if this is really what they said. The people there all told me it was pretty nice wood, and the auctioneer told me that I saved $ 9000. Is this wood? it was worth it? It is too late to bring him back now, but I'm curious. Thank you in advance.
If it is solid 3 / 4 inch thick and the plates are 3 1 / 2 inches wide or more, you've got a deal on Kempas. A good price would be 5.99 a SF A retail price is expected to be of 8.99 to 13.99 or more.
