Exotic Cape

What do you think of the baby boy name....?

Breton

My sister is (still) overdue, and we're from Cape Breton (Canada) but she now lives in Alberta. Her older son's name is Brody.. PERSONALLY; I HIGHLY dislike the name Breton. I live in Cape Breton, so it's not some "homey" exotic name to me. That, and I think Brody & Breton are too much alike.

I don't think they sound too alike, but I'm not a fan of Breton. I'm from the US, so I just don't know how to pronounce it, but if it's "Brett-on" I would want to spell it Bretton. And then it starts to look like button and it's kind of downhill from there. I mean, I like the idea of naming at after "home", I think that's really cute. I'm just not sure it works here.
