Drum Carder
Does anybody have a good idea on how to clean rust from the tynes of a fleece drum carder?
I have put greasy wool through, but still some rust remains, what else will work?
How much rust is there? Can you make something like Q-tips with steel wool instead of cotton to get in there and work on the rusty bits?
I just imagined carding steel wool. I do *not* recommend it. It was just a flight of my imagination.
Is this item from one of those companies with a "Lifetime Guarantee"? If so, check on that. 
I usually just flick card and keep the flicker clean and lightly oiled.
