Double Matte

What can I apply to the bottom of my car mat to keep it from skidding?

My driver's side car mat skids on the carpet. The old backing looked like some sort of foam material. I sprayed it with some outdoor stair step anti-skid and that didn't help at all. Double sided tape came undone even after applying pressure for a few hours. I would like to keep the floor carpet in decent condition, so that limits some things.

Hi. I had the same problem , and bought (contact brand) ultra grip shelf liners .just put it between the rug and mat it will work wonders
