What type of flowers should I plant in clay soil?

Didn't get too much help while searching via yahoo or Google. Just wondering if anyone has some ideas on what to plant in my clay garden and maybe a reason or two why they would work. Thanks.

Bergenias, Campanulas and Geraniums are all easy to grow long-flowering perennial plants that thrive in clay soils.
