can i melt my candles and add oils to make new candles?
I would like to make scented candles from my plain candles is this possible does anyone know please.
Yes you can and very inexpensively. I use a candle jar heater to melt the wax in almost any container. Jelly jars, little jars that capers come in, or even candle jars that still have a little wax left in the bottom. You can buy wax scent blocks at Michaels craft stores and you will find wicks in the same aisle. Make yourself a little template out of cardboard with a hole in the middle to center the wick in the container you use and let the melted wax solidify to make a candle. You can also buy molds for pillars and tapers if you want to make them as well.
