What does Black and Gold mean in the song?
In the song Black and Gold by Sam Sparro, it randomly says Black and Gold. What does it mean?
Black and Gold in the song is a reference to the bible, i found that quite clear in my mind but everyone thinks it's to do with the gold stars and black sky. I can see why it would be but i reckon both are open to interpretation. Black and gold being the colour of the bible, black cover with gold coloured material on the sides of the pages, his references to this signifying his clear connection with god. Along with most of the other song lyrics "now i'm filled to the top with fear" which means in corrolation with the previous lyrics "'cause if your not really here, then the stars don't even matter" that he is fearful if there is no god.
