How do you know if your western saddle is to big for YOU!?

I am just wondering because i am stuck between getting a 14inch or 15inch..........i am think that 15 inch is a little to big, but idunno

when your sitting in the proper position, you should be able to fit a fist/hand in front of you and a fist/hand behind you in the seat. Then you should be able to have a comfortable leg length.
