My daughter threw up all over my new conferter how do I remove the smell>?

My 4 yr. old vomitted all over the conferter what can I use that will remove the odor?

Wash it and add 1/2 cup borax to the wash, along with your regular detergent. Borax is a great deodorizer and it helps kill germs-- people used to use it when washing cloth diapers. For an additional deodorizing boost, you can add 1/2 cup white vinegar to the rinse cycle. The vinegar smell will dissipate as it dries.
